SUMMER 2009 NEWSLETTER
FIRST EDITION

Hello and welcome to the first edition of Monet Beauty Within's newsletter. My name is Linda Evangeline Sayre and I am the owner and Master Stylist of Salon Monet. It is my desire is to share beauty and fashion tips to help make this a fun summer, and to introduce myself to you.

The best way to enjoy yourself is to feel and look your best. Give yourself an hour or at the least a half hour for a beauty treatment. It is important to make a little time for beauty, I promise you can find the time for it. The rewards will be worth the effort, your family will appreciate the care you give to yourself.

This Months' beauty tip is on a relaxing bubble bath. Set the stage. Put scented candles around or near bathtub. Music is also a nice touch, I suggest classical or soft instrumentals.

R E L A X I N G  B U B B L E  B A T H

Choose a bubble bath in your favorite scent: rose, gardenia, vanilla or Lavender all have a relaxing feel.

Epsom salts added will help - muscles relax and clear the body of negative energy.

Start running water in tub using really warm water.

Put one cup of Epsom salts in the water.

Next put a couple of caps of bubble bath under the running water.

HINTS

• When doing the rose bath I like to add rose petals to the bath. Rose petals are sold loose at many florists.
• It is also a nice treat to have a favorite drink next to the tub. My favorite is Pink Champagne, however wine or tea is a good choice as well.

Dim lights or just use light from the candles.

Music ready, drink ready, tub ready, now indulge. Remember ... this is your time, put a do not disturb sign on the door if need be to keep the kids and husband aware that this is your sacred time to relax and unwind.

AFTER THE BATH

After the bath remember to apply a good body lotion to entire body. While applying, speak kind words to your body. Tell your body how grateful you are for the wonderful things it does for you. So many times we criticize our bodies, let us show love and gratitude instead.

F U N  F A S H I O N  T I P

This summer the maxi dress is hot. The halter top style in a gauze cotton looks great in bright colors, add a straw hat and some cute sandals, great for picnics or the beach. At night the look can be changed simply by wearing high heel sandals, jewelery, and of course perfume.

Remember to keep your hair shaped and enjoy a facial, have a manicure and a pedicure. Take care of yourself. Some of these treatments can be done at home, get together with a friend and give each other a manicure or pedicure, or have a spa party serving chocolate martinis for everyone!
