SPRING 2010 NEWSLETTER Dancing for Joy

Hello beautiful people!

I would like to invite you to Dance For Joy with me. I created dance for joy as a way to express Love and Gratitude to the Universe for all the miraculous things in my life. When I danced with the intention of giving and receiving love, amazing things started happening. I started manifesting little things that I wanted.

At first I did not associate the blessings with the dance, then I had a need and I was thinking of a way to have it met, suddenly I heard very clearly. Why don't you dance for it?

It was then that I remembered all the times I danced and received those little blessings. Dancing has always been a passion of mine and a way for me to de-stress. When I dance the cares of life seem to melt away for a time. So Dance For Joy was given to me as a way to show you beautiful friends how you can dance and give and receive love.

I did a personal study on dancing and manifesting, to my excitement I learned that our ancient ancestors danced to have their needs met. They danced for rain, for fruitful crops, for protection, for peace and victory in battle. They also did ceremonial dancing and chose their mates from this ceremony. I think that is a great idea! LOL

This is where we got the tradition of dancing at weddings. The act of dancing frees us to express our innermost feelings. Music is one of the greatest treasures we have, and combining the two is a Union made in heaven. It is not necessary to learn any dance steps as this is your own self expression and a time for you to let go of inhibitions. This time is special and when we get together as a group more energy flows and it seems to create a space of love and love is powerful. Love can move mountains and do healings, and manifest our hearts desires. Give yourself a gift of love and come dance with me.

I have held these dances in different places, the last one was at the Creative Life Center in Sedona, AZ. We had a wonderful time, many people opened up their hearts and some cried, some laughed, yet all responded with, “When can we do this again”? My promise to you is if you truly open to the Universe , the Universe will dazzle you with Joy.

What do I wear?

Wear what makes you happy and is easy to move in.

I feel self conscious in groups.

We are all just expressing ourselves and it is not a contest. When you engage in the dance, all other thoughts fall away.

What if I really cannot dance?

Can you walk, sway, hop, skip? If you can do any of these, you can dance. In one dance session a lady just swayed in place and walked around a bit. She had a great release in her life, anger she carried for years just left and she even looked different. So we never can judge what causes blessings, just be open. The main intention is to have fun and give Love and Gratitude. Trust yourself and trust the Universe.

Linda has danced from the time she walked as a very young girl. She taught Ballroom Dancing for Fred Astaire, and For the Authur Murray Studio. Linda has also trained in the Isadora Duncan style and it remains her favorite style. She prefers to dance bare foot.
